THE BASE COLLECTION
The Base Collection is the first collection of Matryoshka Nations — 195 countries, each represented by an original matryoshka character.
Only 50 Base editions of each country will ever exist. Every country follows the same structure, with no rarity tiers between them.
Countries are released in stages on Ethereum via OpenSea until all 195 are represented.

WHY A MATRYOSHKA?
A matryoshka is a form built in layers. Those layers make it a natural symbol for identity, culture, history, memory, and the different influences that shape who we are.
For Matryoshka Nations, that layered form becomes one recognizable visual language capable of carrying many different characters and ideas.
